• Pour at the right heat (Pouring temperature). Let it cool right (Chvorinov’s rule, Metal shrinkage rates). Avoid hot tear prevention. Understand molten metal flow.

• Make molds strong (Mold compression strength). Let air out (Mold venting systems, Draft angle requirements). Make sure parts fit (Mold registration marks).
